Pasture Raised Guernsey Beef and Veal
We raise Guernsey Bull calves from our local dairy to produce tender, ethical young beef. , our calves are raised with permanent access to grassy fields just like a normal cow. We provide only the highest quality milk and forage making us one of the only local, 100% free range producers of this delicious meat.
Young Guernsey Beef is pink in colour (not white as with old fashioned veal) and has a delicate taste. It is lower in fat and more tender than traditional beef so lends itself excellently to quick, healthy meals. Try quick fried escalope with garlic, white wine and mushroom sauce, or pop some Osso Bucco (Shin) in the slow cooker with vegetables and stock for a rich delicious casserole with some local crusty bread!
In the summer our Guernsey Beef steaks can be found on our Free Range Gourmet Grill at catering events, and we offer guernsey beef burgers and steaks as an option with all our wedding and party catering.
